Pilgrim Cove Basecamp - your cozy mountain home base for a McCall adventure. 

This spacious home is perfectly set up for larger groups or multiple families, comfortably sleeping up to 11 guests. Pilgrim Cove Basecamp is just what the name promises: a comfortable home base for exploring everything McCall offers. Vaulted wood ceilings, exposed beams, and windows full of forest give it a true rustic cabin feel - the kind of place you're glad to come back to with tired legs and good stories. 

It's built for togetherness too. Laid out across two full living levels, the home lets a big group come together - for meals, board games, a puzzle on the table - and just as easily peel off to quiet corners when someone wants a nap or a good book. Three bedrooms upstairs and a private two-room guest suite downstairs sleep 11 comfortably, so two families can each claim a floor without being on top of one another.

Best of all, you're just moments away from adventure! A trailhead to Ponderosa State Park sits one block from the door, with Payette Lake, golf, and downtown McCall all a short trip away. 

Pilgrim Cove Basecamp is a launching point for the mountains and the lake in every season:

Summer — swim, paddle, and water-ski on Payette Lake, raft the Payette and Salmon Rivers, then hike or bike from the door, where wild huckleberries ripen come late summer.
Fall — chase the golden larch and aspen on quiet trails, fish the cooling rivers, and soak in the hot springs as the crowds thin out.
Winter — carve alpine runs at Brundage Mountain and Tamarack Resort, ski or snowshoe Ponderosa State Park's groomed nordic trails, or open the throttle on the backcountry snowmobile routes.
Spring — catch the melt-swollen whitewater at its peak, forage for morels after the snowmelt, and wander the trails as the wildflowers return.

Year-round, the home sits on a friendly, dog-loving loop made for morning walks and meeting the neighbors, two- and four-legged alike. Spread the maps across the table, plan the day over coffee, and head out — then regroup by the fire at night to swap stories. That's the basecamp way.

Where everyone sleeps:
Upstairs 
- Primary Suite — King bed, with a private ensuite bath and a deep soaking tub
- Starry Night Room — Queen bed, plus a cozy built-in cubby bed (twin) tucked into the eaves that kids love
- Balcony Room — Two Twin XL beds that convert to a King; opens onto a private back balcony
Downstairs Guest Suite (two connected rooms)
- Queen bed in one room
- Full-size futon sleeper in the second room (with its own TV)
Family Room
- A sleeper sofa for one more (or two kids)

Bathrooms:
Three full bathrooms - the primary ensuite and a second full bath upstairs, plus a third serving the downstairs guest suite. 

Inside the home:
Settle in by the wood-burning stove on chilly mountain evenings — its glass door glows with the fire, and a starter log kit gets you going — while a propane stove keeps the downstairs suite cozy. There's a Roku smart TV in the family room for movie nights, plus a second in the downstairs suite that's handy for private viewing, gaming with your own console, or doubling as a monitor for remote work. The full kitchen is stocked for cooking together, a full-size washer and dryer keeps everyone's gear fresh, and reliable high-speed Wi-Fi runs throughout.

Outside - Distinct outdoor spaces for every mood:
- A screened-in front porch beside the front deck — morning coffee, bug-free
- A large back deck with the BBQ grill , made for big-group dinners
- A private balcony off the Balcony Room with Adirondack chairs

For play and downtime, there's a two-person rope hammock , a slackline kit you can rig up between the property's towering ponderosa pines, a corn hole set , and a telescope for stargazing under McCall's dark mountain skies.

A note on staying cool:
This is a true mountain home with no air conditioning — and at McCall's elevation, you rarely need it. Days are warm, but evenings cool off beautifully, and the home stays comfortable with cross-ventilation and pine shade.

The location:
- Ponderosa State Park — a trailhead one block from the door; the beach, boat launch, and Payette Lake campgrounds are less than a mile away as the osprey flies
- Davis Beach — a Payette Lake swimming spot, a 4-minute bike ride (1 mile)
- Downtown McCall — restaurants, shops, and lake access, a 6-minute drive (2 miles)
- McCall Golf Club — the course is just a couple of blocks away; the clubhouse is a short drive
- Brundage Mountain — alpine skiing, a 22-minute drive (12 miles)
- Bike & walking paths within a block — plus the seasonal town shuttle loop nearby, so you can park the car and explore

Parking:
A one-car garage plus driveway room for up to four more vehicles - including space for a small trailer.

Note: If you have a large group, the property next door is also available for through DoneRight Management.  


Things to note:

No AC at this home.

No smoking. No parties. No events. No fireworks.

This home has exterior surveillance that records motion and sound. Floodlight with security camera located above the garage door, facing the driveway and street.

This is a pet-friendly property, pending pre-approval from DoneRight Management only. The pet fee is $25 per pet per night of the reservation. For pet approval and detailed guidelines, please contact DoneRight Management. 

This home has a two-night minimum stay, but some date ranges require a 3 or 4-night stay. 

Make yourself at home, but please be respectful of locked cupboards and doors that indicate a private space. 

All of our properties have self-check-in via keyless entry or lockbox. Guest access codes and check-in information will be sent to guests one week prior to arrival. 

NO parties or events are allowed at this property. 

Check-in is anytime after 4 PM. Check out is at 10 AM.

The guest renting this home must be an adult 25 years or older and will be an occupant of the unit during the entire reservation period.

This property is subject to all City of McCall ordinances, including those specific to noise levels, occupancy, and safety. 

All reservations must submit identification and sign the DoneRight Management rental agreement w/in 72 hours of booking.

Your worry-free, DoneRight Management vacation rental is equipped with linens, towels, toiletry items, and kitchen essentials. To start your vacation off right, we’ve provided a day’s worth of supplies, including your morning coffee, paper towels, bathroom tissue, and garbage bags. Also provided, where required, is propane for gas grills and enough wood for indoor fireplace use during your stay. For properties with a fire pit, guests will need to purchase wood, which is available at several local stores. 

Each rental property also includes a guest book with information and tips unique to the home, along with recommendations, local activities and events, local emergency contact information, including how to contact us – we’re always just a phone call away. 

Our office is located on the corner of North 3rd Street and McGinnis Street in McCall (directly across the street from The Mill restaurant) - stop by and say hello! Our office hours are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm, and Saturdays from 10 am to 4:30 pm.
