OUR STORY

How It All Started

It didn’t start with a business plan or a pitch deck.

In 2004, Kelly Hill and her husband Joseph Hill bought a few homes in the McCall, Idaho area and started managing them on their own. They were hands-on, detail-oriented, and genuinely cared about the experience of every person who walked through the door. Word got out, the way it does in a small mountain town like McCall, and friends started asking for help with their properties too.

One became five. Five became fifty. Twenty-five years later, DoneRight Management oversees more than 360 properties across Valley County: short-term vacation rentals, long-term rentals, commercial buildings, and homeowners’ associations.

No acquisition. No outside investors. Just steady, earned growth that was built on trust, results, and a reputation that speaks for itself.

She found it in McCall.

Kelly Hill

What she built over the past two decades reflects who she is: someone who shows up fully, sets a high bar, and never stops learning. Kelly credits her team for DoneRight’s success, and she credits her faith for grounding everything else. Giving back, to employees, to the community, to the organizations she supports, isn’t a line item in the budget. It’s the whole point.

Kelly and Joe were instrumental in passing House Bill 583 alongside Jeremy and Melissa Radford. This was a 3 year effort with boots on the ground protecting Vacation Rental Property Owners rights in Idaho that placed the necessary guardrails into law that helps guide local municipalities and cities.

When she’s not running the company, Kelly and her husband Joe are enjoying their dream home in River Ranch, spending time with their three adult children and very busy four-year-old grandson, and making the most of Idaho’s four seasons. Summer means dirt biking, gardening, and freeze-drying vegetables from the garden (she takes preparedness seriously). Winter means snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and snowboarding, the same adventurous spirit that built this business.
